Having received his Juris Doctor from Berkeley Law at the University of California Berkeley in 1991, John S. Poulos is currently an attorney for the law firm of Lewis Brisbois in Sacramento, California. John Poulos argues cases for the firm exclusively in the area of commercial litigation. Students in the J.D. Program at Berkeley Law have the privilege of learning in one of the top law schools in the nation from some of the best scholars in the field. Known for its demanding, hands-on coursework and real-world applications, the school only accepts an average of one out of every ten applicants each year. The J.D. Program at Berkeley Law focuses on analyzing and interpreting the law as well as learning how to consider and challenge competing viewpoints, present persuasive arguments and developing effective policies and insights.
